Rescue operation is going on since Friday night in the horrific train accident in Balasore area of ​​Odisha. More than 10 bogies derailed after a fierce collision between two passenger trains and a goods train. The death toll in this horrifying accident is continuously increasing. Till the time of writing the news, 280 people have lost their lives in this accident. Whereas, more than 900 are injured.NDRF and Army personnel along with the local police, administration are engaged in relief work since night. The Air Force has also engaged in the rescue operation since morning.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav reached the spot on Saturday morning to know the progress of the rescue operation. He also interacted with journalists. Said that compensation has been announced for the injured and the relatives of the deceased in the accident. Rescue operation is being conducted on a war footing. The Ministry of Railways, Central and State Governments are providing all possible help to the injured at their level.

The Railway Minister was asked what was the reason for this horrific train accident? On this, he said that it is not yet clear, but, an inquiry committee has been constituted in this matter by the Ministry of Railways. The committee is monitoring the entire matter. Whoever is guilty of this accident will not be spared. He said that he himself will go to the bottom of the matter and will not remain silent till the result is out.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was asked whether this accident was a conspiracy? In response, the Railway Minister said that first we have to respect human sensibilities. Right now they cannot say anything in this matter. Inquiry committee has been formed. Until the report of the committee comes in this matter, they will not be able to say much.

The number of people who lost their lives in the train accident in Odisha is continuously increasing. At the same time, many people have also been injured. A large number of people of West Bengal have been affected in this accident. One of the trains that met with the accident, the Coromandel Express, had left the Shalimar railway station in the state. At the same time, the second train Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast was to reach Howrah station here.In such a situation, as soon as the news of the train accident was received, people became restless to know the condition of their loved ones in both the trains. Especially the number of such people was very high at Howrah railway station.
