Fans of EXO, known as EXO-Ls, were overjoyed upon hearing the comeback announcement. Their excitement was evident as they flooded social media with comments such as "the return of the kings" and "please make way for the king."
The comeback news follows the recent sighting of all EXO members—Suho, Xiumin, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O, Kai, and Sehun—at Gimpo Airport as they embarked on a journey to film a new reality series.
It is worth noting that Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin, who had previously filed lawsuits against SM Entertainment and terminated their exclusive contracts, will still participate in the album without any changes. Despite Kai's enlistment in the military in May this year, he will still be part of the album, showcasing the unwavering unity of EXO. Currently, EXO is putting the finishing touches on their album, which will mark their first full-length release in almost four years since "OBSESSION" in November 2019.
